Apple supplier Foxconn to build $10 bn plant in US

Taiwanese manufacturing giant Foxconn announced plans to invest $10bn (£7.6bn) in a new factory in the US. The plant, to be located in Wisconsin, is expected to make LCD panels and employ 3,000 people initially. President Donald Trump claimed credit for Foxconn's "incredible investment" which he said would not have happened if he had not been elected. Taiwan-based Foxconn is best known for assembling Apple iPhones in China.
