CEO and MD of Airtel Payments Bank resigned
Shashi Arora, the Managing Director and CEO of the Airtel Payments Bank has resigned. The reason behind the CEO's resignation has been affirmed to be the suspension of the eKYC licence of the firm by UIDAI. Shashi was working as the MD and the CEO in the firm from June 1, 2016, but performing directive roles since 2006. However, Airtel Payments Bank's licence is still suspended till the further consent.
