Chandrayaan-2 has the world's attention as everyone is sitting on the edge, as the countdown begins, to witness the historic landing on Moon. A former NASA Astronaut Jerry Linenger has said that India's Chandrayaan-2 mission will help all space-fearing nations to eventually set up man's permanent presence on Moon. India aims to become the 1st one to explore the south pole of Moon, where frozen water is expected to be found.
