All thanks to 5G tech that helped doctors in China to direct surgeons 200 km away to perform a gall bladder surgery in a remote area. China Mobile is 1 of 4 telecoms that got the licence to roll out 5G. The laparoscopic cholecystectomy conducted lasted for about an hour where 5G internet connection enabled the entire process in Taihe hospital. There was no network delay & the patient's vital signs were stable post surgery.
