Cyclone Fani-the Most powerful, strongest storm since 1999

India witnessed severe cyclones previously but of all Fani is 'extremely severe' cyclone which hit the eastern coast of Odisha with a wind speed of 200 km/hour, is found to be the strongest since 1999. The Super cyclone of Odisha in 1999 had a wind speed of 225-250 km/hour wreaking havoc in Odisha. IMD said that Fani was also the strongest cyclonic storm in April since 1901 & have the longest survival cycle.
