Diamond-like glass created by Chinese scientists

According to reports, Chinese scientists have discovered a diamond-hard glass substance called AM-III that may be widely employed in the hi-tech industry. AM-III is a semiconductor that can purportedly carry electric current. The translucent AM-III is composed of carbon and is a semiconductor almost as efficient as silicon, according to reports. Scientists claim that the AM-III can be made in a variety of forms and sizes.
