Almost 5 decades after the 1st Earth day on April 22, 1970; the CO2 levels have shot up tremendously to around 412ppm, nearly 90ppm higher than earlier 325ppm. The rate of CO2 increase is unprecedented in the geologic record. Scientists now estimate that nearly 100 billion USD would be required to save the diversity and abundance of life on Earth by a new time-bound science policy proposal 'GDN' to reverse the tide.
