Elon Musk buys a ticket for Branson's virgin galactic ride to space

Musk has already purchased his own ticket through Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic. A Virgin Galactic official confirmed to the Wall Street Journal that Musk has purchased a ticket for his personal space flight. It's unknown how far up the waiting list Musk is. Virgin Galactic has announced that its seats have sold for $250,000 apiece, and the firm has received $80 million in sales and deposits.
