Scientists have successfully transferred first test-tube rhino embryo back into a female whose eggs were fertilised in vitro. This was a part of an effort to save another nearly extinct sub-species of the giant mammal as only 2 northern white rhinos-both female are left. The last male rhino died in March 2018. It was done on a white rhino at Chorzow zoo in Poland. The German govt supports the project with $4.6 million funding.
