First small category drone by an Indian startup gets certification from DGCA

Aarav Unmanned Systems’ (AUS) flagship enterprise-grade multi-copter drone 'Insight' has become the 1st small category drone to be certified by DGCA. Drones weighing 250 gms to 2 kg fall under the micro category. Small category drones weigh 2 - 25kg can stay longer, carry heavier, more advanced sensors & need additional compliance requirements to be met as per the CAR. 3 Indian startups got certification under micro category.
