Forest, twice the size of UK destroyed for consumer brands: Greenpeace International

Greenpeace International has said that in last decade forest areas twice the size of UK had been destroyed for big commercial brands of palm and soybean oil. It has linked 4 main commodities with the destruction of the forest: palm oil, soya, cattle, paper and pulp, The analysis also says that by 2020 approximately 123m acres of forest areas will be destroyed and as a result greenhouse gas emission will increase drastically.
