Google, CBSE join hands to train 1 million teachers to deliver "blended learning"

Tech-giant Google and Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) have joined hands to provide training to 1 million teachers in 22,000 schools under the Google for India 2020 virtual event for the delivery of "blended learning", a combination of online learning and a classroom approach. A new grant for $1 million (roughly Rs. 7.51 crores) has also been announced by the firm to train teachers in regard to virtual education.
