Google Pay isn't authorized with RBI, still it's working in India, how?: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court has asked the Reserve Bank of India how Google's mobile payment app, Google Pay, is working without its authorization in the country. The question was raised by the court when a PIL claimed that the digital wallet had violated the Payments and Settlements Act as it has got no authorization from the central bank of India to conduct such functions. A notice has been issued to both RBI and Google India.
