Increase in the no. of mobile subscribers to 988.49 million
India has been witnessing a sudden rise in the number of mobile subscribers i.e. 988.49 million subscribers in January 2018, as confirmed by the COAI's report. However, the top rankers incorporate Bharti Airtel Ltd., Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular with Bharti Airtel Ltd. grabbing the first position with 29.50% market share and 291.61 million subscribers due to the addition of 15,02,755 more during Jan.
