India becomes 2nd largest market in app downloads
A new survey by app analytics provider App Annie claims that last year India downloaded more apps than the US. In 2017 India, ranked 2, recorded almost 58 billion of the 175 billion app downloads across the world. China has topped the list with nearly 65 billion downloads. Brazil and Russia are 4th & 5th respectively. In India, app downloads have jumped 215% over the last 2 years while China has 125% growth rate.
