India adopts redefined standards for measuring units kilogram, kelvin, mole & ampere

India adopted a global resolution to redefine 4 of the 7 base units - Kilogram, Kelvin, Mole & Ampere. A resolution for the same was passed at the CGPM of BIPM, Paris by representatives of 60 countries. It has been implemented across the world on May 20. The unit redefinitions represent a profound change of perspective; this may not change drastically but matters when it comes to measuring less than a kg.
