India, Brazil lead the race in app downloads during pandemic

When work from home became the norm, most were left with no option but to escape to the virtual realm. This was evidenced by the downloads for mobile applications witnessing record highs. The impact is there to be seen in India, which tops the charts when it comes to growth in app usage during the lockdown. India and Brazil were the leaders in the charts, both for non-gaming apps downloads and gaming apps downloads in Q2 2020.
