Indian refineries are using dirty fuel to produce power

Indian refineries are working on new plans to turn dirty fuel into power after government’s decision to ban polluting fuel in and around National Capital Region. Indian Oil Corporation and other refineries have invested in Delayed coker unit while the Oil Ministry has requested the refineries to work with petcoke gasifiers more. Indian Oil Corporation has said that they are trying to build one gasifier for multiple refineries.
