ISRO built fake lunar surface using Soil from TN & K'taka, to test Chandrayaan-2 Rover

Chandrayaan-2 has been launched successfully, ISRO's monumental achievement in its history! It is the 1st time India will land a spacecraft on the unexplored South Pole region of Moon. To achieve this feat, they needed an environment to test 'Vikram Pragyaan'. So, they created an artificial moon surface using soil from TN & K'taka. The rover was initially of 4-wheel configuration but then changed it to 6-wheel to give stability.
