Kerala student entered Facebook Hall of fame by fixing WhatsApp security glitch

Bug bounty hunters are important for Facebook so that the glitches are not overlooked. 19-years old KS Ananthakrishna, a B-tech student from Kerala, had spotted a security glitch in WhatsApp. He informed Facebook about the bug that could extract the files on the messenger app without the user's knowledge. Facebook has studied the bug and awarded him $500 as well as a spot in their bug bounty Hall of fame.
