Make in India: Xiaomi to manufacture Smart Tvs in new Andhra Pradesh plant
Xiaomi has set up a new manufacturing plant in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, as a step towards their commitment to 'Make in India' initiative, where they will now manufacture smart TVs beginning with a local assembly of Mi LED Smart TV 4A’s 32-inch and 43-inch models. The 32-acre plant, which has 850 employees and production capacity of 100,000 LED TVs per month, has been built in partnership with Dixon Technologies.
