Defeating Amazon and Apple, Microsoft has become America's most valuable company. After the shares of the giant surged on Friday, it's market capitalization ended up standing at above $1 trillion. While on the other hand, Amazon and Apple stood at 2nd and 3rd place respectively with around $880 of market capitalization each. CEO Satya Nadella has been credited for the firm's revival after he took charge in 2014.
