Microsoft detects malicious software in its systems

On a week where US officials have unearthed a massive hacking campaign that intended to compromise the security of private and well as US government systems, Microsoft Corporation said it has found malicious software in its systems. Orion, the widely deployed networking management software from SolarWinds Corp, was used in the Russian attacks on key US agencies. Microsoft has now isolated and removed the malicious software.
