Mortal Kombat movie gets a 2021 release date

Following rumours about filming to start in Australia this year, Warner Bros. has now put a release date on the new Mortal Kombat movie. We have to wait until March 5, 2021, to see the reboot on the big screen. Australian director Simon McQuoid and writer Greg Russo are involved, though no details about the screenplay yet revealed. Russo's also written Resident Evil reboot and now working on a Saints Row adaptation.
