NASA suffered $700 million loss for metal fraud

According to an investigation by NASA, a metal manufacturing company gave fake test results and supplied faulty materials to the US space agency. NASA had a staggering $700 million loss along with two failed satellite launch missions for this fraudulence. The company Sapa Profiles Inc is based in Oregon. It faked certifications for aluminum materials for the last 19 years cheating hundreds of customers including NASA.
