The National Aeronautics Space Administration's Hubble Space Telescope (NASA) has captured a stunning image of NGC 3895, a barred spiral galaxy which was first spotted by German-born British astronomer - William Herschel back in 1790. A coloured image of the galaxy was captured with Hubble’s Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) instrument. The NGC 3895 galaxy is otherwise also known as LEDA 36907, UGC 6785 and KPG 303b.
