Niti Aayog proposes Rs 7500 crore plan for creation of institutional framework for AI

The Niti Aayog has drawn up a plan for creating an institutional framework for artificial intelligence in the country & proposed Rs 7500 crore in funding for the creation of a cloud computing platform called AIRAWAT& research institutes. It proposed that the new government pump in Rs 7500 crore initially over a 3-year period & set up a high-level task force to oversee the rollout & implementation of AI.
