Norway has newly appointed health minister, whose statements caused controversy. Sylvi Listhaug said-let people smoke, drink & eat as much as red meat they want; they pretty much know what is healthy & what is not'. She said smokers were made to feel like pariahs & the only thing govt can do is to provide info so that people can make informed choices. Critics say she has a lesser understanding of what public health is.
