Over 1.5 crore Andriod devices in India infected by virus without users knowing

In a cyber-security threat, at least 1.5 crore Indian android devices have been infected by a virus without the users knowing. According to a firm, a new mobile malware has silently infected 2.5 crore devices globally, which includes 1.5 crore mobiles in India. The firm has also stated that the malware is disguised as a Google-related app. What's more concerning is that the virus replaces installed apps with malicious versions of its own.
