Political ads claiming victory before results of US election to be rejected by Facebook

Social media giant Facebook has said that it will reject political ads that intend to claim victory in the 2020 US Presidential elections before the announcement of the results. This comes a month after Facebook said that it will stop accepting new political ads in the week before the election. Spokesman Andy Stone said in a tweet that the firm will consider election results "declared" once they are announced via Reuters.
