Qualcomm wins as Apple infringed three of its patents

It has come as a victory for mobile phone chip supplier Qualcomm Inc after the jury in federal court in San Diego finds that Apple is to pay Qualcomm about $31 million for violating 3 of its patents on Friday. Qualcomm last year alleged that Apple violated patents to get better battery life for its iPhones. The fine is not going to affect the company much as it is the 2nd most valuable U.S. company after Microsoft.
