RBI bans the banks and other entities from using the cryptocurrencies

Virtual currencies such as the Cryptocurrencies have been banned by RBI and now they won't be able to facilitate any of the individuals or companies by their services. Thus, a time period of three months has been given to all the banks for the winding up of all the entities that are related to or working for the virtual currencies. However, blockchain is still going to be promoted.
