Reliance joins hands with Facebook to develop “Super app”

Social media giant Facebook and Reliance Industry Limited have joined hands to develop a multi-functional super-app, which would include digital payments, social media, gaming along with flights and hotel bookings options and others. This development comes approximately 2-weeks after Facebook acquired a 10% stake in Indian telecom giant Reliance Jio. It will be Facebook’s 3rd investment in India.
