Facebook denies report claiming physical verification of an Indian user

A media report claims physical verification of a user was conducted after his FB post had political content. It seems that FB representatives visited the user's residence, asked his PAN, Aadhar card & other documents to check if the political content was posted by him. FB denied stating it doesn't conduct any form of physical verification except for an advertiser who plans to run political ads which needs authorization.
