George Whitesides, the former CEO of Virgin Galactic Holdings, will go to space on the aerospace company's next test mission, according to CNBC. Richard Branson became the first person to go to space earlier this month, beating Amazon.com's Jeff Bezos to the finish line. According to the story, Branson revealed the news about Whitesides at a party in New Mexico on July 11 after his own spaceflight.
