Researchers warns: World's major cities to face 'unknown climate conditions' by 2050

As the rising temperatures increase the risk of drought and flooding, researchers warned that a fifth of the world's major cities would be facing unknown climate conditions by 2050. Climate scientists analyzed 520 cities across the world, which showed that 22% of the cities would experience unprecedented climate conditions by 2050, ex-more intense dry & monsoon seasons. This study may help cities to combat specific climate risks.
