Samsung's new chip production project cost them $1.29 Billion
Samsung C&T Corp and Samsung Electronics Co Ltd have now doubled the amount of a contract regarding the development of a semiconductor production line, which makes the project’s total cost to $1.29 billion. The contract includes finishing work on the line in Samsung Electronics’ Hwaseong plant on the west coast of South Korea, Samsung C&T declared during a stock exchange filing after the market closed last weekend.
