Scientists are working on to turn Plastic waste to Jet fuel

A group of scientists and researchers have found a way to turn plastic waste into jet fuel. Waste plastic is a huge problem worldwide as it is hard to break down. However, the scientists have tested low-density polyethylene along with plastic water bottles, milk bottles, and plastic bags and then used carbon as a catalyst while burning them in very high temperature. The best result was 85% jet fuel and 15% diesel.
