Scientists develop a mysterious ancient organism that may be the origin of life

Researchers explained a scientific mystery by successfully growing an ancient life form in a lab. This is a major breakthrough that brings us 1 step closer to discovering our very 1st ancestors on Earth. The unknown organism was unearthed on the floor of Arctic ocean in 2010 and was dubbed Lokiarchaeota. The scientists grew a microbe Prometheoarchaeum syntrophicum, who created humans out of clay in Greek mythology.
