Approximately 1.5 billion sensitive files are open to people on the internet. These files include medical scans to patent applications. According to the researchers from the cybersecurity firm Digital Shadows, a scanning tool was used that detected the private data leaked online of the people and companies from across the globe. It makes it easy for the hackers or rival companies to steal sensitive information.
