Some women are pretending to be Men on Instagram!

Many female pole dancers, fitness instructors and sex workers on Instagram are now changing their gender to male on the app. The widespread deception comes in response to a sexist policy the Facebook-owned platform brought in earlier this year. In April, Instagram started hiding photos and videos that it pointed out vaguely ‘inappropriate’ without any explanation regarding the block or alerting affected users.
