Sony announces Android 10 update plans

Amid tough competition, Sony has announced eight of its smartphones will receive the newest version of the OS, Android 10 update. These models are from the Xperia series. Other Sony handsets won’t receive the update. The Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 will be the first to grab the update in December. The other six handsets will receive it early 2020 onwards. The exact timing and availability depend on market and/or operator.
