Sony appointed Nayyar as its first Indian MD

Sony India appointed Sunil Nayyar as Managing Director, being first Indian to hold the position. Nayyar held the position of Sales Head from April 2006 till April 2015 and started his career with Sony in 1995. Now Nayyar will be replacing Kenichiro Hibi who held the position for six years and has been now appointed as President of Sony Brazil. Nayyar will start his term from April 1, 2018, as the MD of Sony India.
