Tata Group and General Electric to manufacture jet engine components

With an aim of manufacturing the varied components of a jet engine, a partnership has been confirmed between the Tata Group and General Electric. These parts will act as the main help for the global supply chain of the General Electric. This partnership has been done keeping in view the strengthing of our nation's defence-manufacturing capabilities. The various tasks to be performed include assembling, testing, integrating and manufacturing.
