Sensitive documents of more than 100 manufacturing companies like GM, Ford, Tesla, and VW were revealed on a server Level One Robotics, Security researcher UpGuard Cyber Risk said. The data came through rsync, a common file transfer protocol used to backup large data sets. As per the security researchers, no restrictions were placed on rsync and its clients could download anything. The exposure was closed on July 10.
