Uber buys AI firm to help advance technology on autonomous cars

Ride-giants Uber has acquired computer vision startup Mighty AI to advance push for autonomous cars. While the terms of the accession were not disclosed, Uber said that around 40 employees from the Seattle-based firm would join the advanced technology group to help in the works for self-driving cars. The Mighty AI specialises in computer vision where artificial intelligence is used to understand autonomous cars better and in the coming years, we can expect the deployment soon.
