The Department of Future Technologies of the University of Turku has developed an application that can detect patients with atrial fibrillation to up to 96%. The disease is an irregular heart rate that can increase the risk of stroke, heart failure and other heart-related diseases. Timely detection of atrial fibrillation can save lives.
