US scientists partially revive pig brains 4 hours after the animals were slaughtered. The study showed the death of brain cells could be halted, restoration of blood vessels & even some connections in the brain may be restored. But there were no signs of awareness or consciousness. These findings may provide a new way of researching diseases such as Alzheimer's. The pig's brain came from the pork industry for this experiment.
