Venezuela to start its own cryptocurrency

Venezuela’s economy has fallen into a deep pit, the money has lost its value and amid that, the President has declared to launch “Petro” the oil-backed cryptocurrency to revive the economy. Whether or not is it going to work is uncertain as the President did not divulge much detail about it yet. With the rise of Bitcoins, cryptocurrencies are becoming popular, and launching their own cryptocurrency came from there.
