Water Crisis: Water Reservoirs Drying Up Quickly; 80% have below normal storage

India needs water & there are no signs of monsoon rains in many parts of the country. MeT department shows that 84% recorded deficient rainfall. Out of 91 major reservoirs in the nation, 80% have storage below normal & 11% have zero per cent storage making the water crisis acute. The east & northeast India recorded deficient rainfall. Central Maharashtra & Chennai are reeling under a severe water crisis.
